Rail Logistics Europe restructures its combined transport Division to foster new synergies

In the actual context where combined transport plays a key role in the ecological transition and the competitiveness of the sector, the Rail Logistics Europe (RLE) group is taking a decisive step by strengthening its combined transport division around Naviland Cargo and VIIA.
The goal is to offer a high-performance intermodal service, supported by an optimized cross-functional organization and an ambitious development strategy.

TWO NEW COMPANIES WILL BE CREATED WITHIN THE RAIL LOGISTICS EUROPE GROUP OUT OF FRET SNCF: HEXAFRET, A LEADING RAIL FREIGHT OPERATOR, AND TECHNIS, A LOCOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE COMPANY.

On Monday November 4, the creation and names of Rail Logistics Europe's two new companies were made official: HEXAFRET, the new rail operator specializing in wagons grouping; and TECHNIS, the new locomotive maintenance company.

A BRAND NEW AND MODERN FLEET OF WAGONS FOR NAVILAND CARGO

In 2024, Naviland Cargo is investing 100 million euros in the total renewal of its wagon fleet, i.e a total of 800 modern 80-foot wagons, supplied by Ermewa, delivered to the company throughout the year, until 2025.
