Rapport RSE 1

Rail Logistics Europe (RLE) has reached a major milestone with the publication of its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report. This founding document formalises the group's commitment to more sustainable logistics, at the heart of European supply chains.

Through this report, RLE confirms its conviction: rail freight is an immediately available and efficient solution to meet the needs of shippers more generally to climate, industrial and territorial challenges in Europe.

A concrete lever for decarbonisation for shippers

As a major player in rail freight in Europe, Rail Logistics Europe offers massive, reliable and low-carbon transport solutions, which can be directly mobilised by its customers to reduce their environmental footprint.

A structured and ambitious CSR roadmap

A structured and ambitious CSR roadmap

The 2025 report establishes a roadmap common to the group's six entities (Hexafret, Captrain, Naviland Cargo, VIIA, Technis and Forwardis), organized around four pillars:

  • Developing a decarbonised logistics chain thanks to rail freight
  • Reduce the environmental impact of operations
  • Promote diversity, inclusion and employee engagement
  • Strengthen trust and ethics in business relationships

This approach is fully in line with the SNCF Group's strategy and European standards, with 66% of revenue aligned with the European green taxonomy (climate change mitigation objective).

A clear ambition for European logistics

With this first CSR report, Rail Logistics Europe is setting a course: to make rail freight a pillar of the ecological transition in Europe, by reconciling economic performance, environmental responsibility and social commitment.

Serving its customers and the regions, the group continues to develop sustainable logistics solutions, capable of meeting industrial needs while actively contributing to the reduction of emissions from the transport sector.

Taking care of our customers, our employees, our environment, ensuring the safety of traffic and our staff are not opposed to performance. Quite the contrary
