Nicholas Giraud

A graduate of EM Lyon with a Master's degree in International Studies, Nicholas Giraud began his career in 1998 at SNCF (Freight Division), where he held three positions in three years in the sales department. He then joined the Antargaz group, where he was appointed Logistics Director in charge of rail, road and sea supplies, before returning to SNCF in 2005 to manage the Frankfurt-based subsidiary SNCF Fret Deutschland and its offices in Poland and Austria. In 2008, he was appointed Sales Director for combined transport, before heading the Ecorail subsidiary and completing a merger with another group entity (Ermechem) to create Forwardis SAS. In January 2020, Nicholas was appointed International Director of the TFMM Division. In this role, he was responsible for the management and development of the Captrain network in Europe. At the same time, he continued to oversee Forwardis activities. Nicholas Giraud has been Strategy and Development Director for Rail Logistics Europe since February 1, 2024.
