RAILPOOL and Technis sign a first agreement for the maintenance of interoperable locomotives in France
With a view to developing its locomotive leasing business in France, RAILPOOL is entrusting the maintenance of BR 188 locomotives to Technis.
This partnership, initiated by the signing of a Contract for access to maintenance service facilities on April 7th, 2025, is the result of a long selection process: a call for tenders launched in February 2024, a documentary and safety audit of Technis carried out by RAILPOOL, and finally a real-life maintenance test at the Thionville maintenance workshop.

The contract, which provides for light preventive and corrective maintenance, will be formalized at the end of 2025 with the signature of a multi-year commercial contract. The first locomotives will arrive at Technis maintenance workshops in early 2026.
